Cromwell recognise the need to protect the environment so that we can meet the needs of current and future generations. We are dedicated to a process of continuous improvement across our business and Climate Active certification provides us with the forum to independently verify we are maintaining that commitment.

Since 2019 Cromwell Property Group's Australian operations have been certified Carbon Neutral by Climate Active. Climate Active certification is awarded to businesses and organisations that have achieved a state of carbon neutrality.

In 2019 Cromwell invested in offset projects that supported the protection of Tasmanian native forests and wind power projects in India.

Since 2020, Cromwell has invested in carbon offsets through Greenfleet, a leading Australian not-for-profit organisation reforesting critically deforested regions of Australia, thereby helping restore habitats for endangered wildlife, sequester carbon, reduce soil erosion, improve water quality and support livelihoods in local and Indigenous Australian communities. All carbon offsets purchased through Greenfleet are stapled to supporting reforestation projects across Australia.
